Masters and Super Masters 2020 - cancelled in Switzerland

Dear Golfers, dear friends

Totally unexpected we received under mentioned letter from the Swiss Association, announcing that they will not be able to organize the 2020 Master and Super Masters tournament in Switzerland.

Yesterday we had a thorough discussion with the Board of the Swiss Association about the information received and to establish if - with the help of ESGA - measures could be taken to change their decision on cancellation.

Unfortunately it is clear through mentioned reasons in their letter, that Switzerland will not and can not organize this tournament.

Of course we do hope, that in the case that already some reservations have been made, the Associations will be able to cancel these, but please inform us on your specific situation.

In the meantime, we are seriously looking for an alternative, obviously not in Switzerland, and we do hope to have clarity about the possibilities in the forthcoming 2 weeks, and will inform you accordingly.

Anyway, if there could  be found a good alternative, it will not be on the same projected dates (2nd - 5th of June 2020), but at least a month later.

Once again we are extremely sorry and disappointed about the situation, but be assured, that we take any necessary step to look into alternatives, with the ultimate goal being able to hold the Masters/Supermasters 2020 in a different Country/location.
